Corona Warranties Explained
Depending on the Corona tool you purchased, we offer two types of warranties; Limited Lifetime Warranty and a Limited Warranty.
Our MAX tools are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for the life of the tool. If a Corona® MAX tool is found to be defective, we will replace it free of charge or provide you with next steps to get it replaced.
Our RED tools are guaranteed to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for 10 years from the date of purchase. If your tool is found to be defective within that period, Corona® will replace it free of charge or provide you with next steps to get it replaced.
The type of warranty your tool carries will always be displayed on the product packaging. In the event you no longer have the packaging, our catalog lists each warranty for our tools. If you are unable to locate it, our team of customer service experts can help quickly determine which warranty applies to your tool.
What Corona Covers
Corona stands behind our promises and guarantees our tools to be free of defects in materials and workmanship during the tool's warranty period. It's important to note that every Corona tool, whether MAX or RED, will eventually wear out. The life of a tool is usually determined by how often and the conditions where it is being used. If there are any defects in materials or workmanship, it usually happens early in the life of the tool. The same tool may have a different life expectancy based on frequency of use. Someone making thousands of cuts, digs or scoops per day will wear out a tool long before an occasional, infrequent user. (See Corona Genuine Replacement Parts) If deemed defective, Corona will either send a replacement or replace it with the same model or one of higher quality.
What's Not Covered
Corona is dependable and trustworthy, and we expect the same from our customers. We do not cover normal wear, lost or stripped parts, product modification, or product damage due to misuse as claims for a defective tool. Abuse is using a tool in a manner that it was not designed, not storing it properly leading to rusted parts or weathered handles and grips. Improper cleaning and storage can also damage and/ or shorten the life of your tools.
