Plant/Tree Networking with Plants Map and Corona Tools

Posted by Chris Sabbarese on Tue, Dec, 16, 2014 @ 00:12 AM

PlantsMapImageNetworking! This week on #Treechat we learn more about Plants Map, an onlline community for anyone interested in plants, gardens and green spaces. It's a community to connect people with plants. Plants Map creates bonds with trees in many different ways. Each tree has a unique story to tell.  They may be landmarks, navigation points or markers of historic events. They serve as a way of memorialize others or to mark special occassions or events in our lives. We want to allow people to document and capture those meaningful trees and connections on Plants Map.

You might start a free profile and add your plants and photos to share with other users. Keep your garden journal online and choose what posts you want to share with others. Find out more this week on #Treechat.

Win Tools to Care for Your Tree

Once planted, trees don't just care for themselves.  They require TLC which includes pruning to help establish young trees and rejuvinate them as they grow.  To help in the process, the most active participant will receive a Corona Classic hand pruner and leather scabbard.  So tweet, ask questions and share on this treechat to win!
