xeriscape on corona tools landscapechatWith the continuing drought, Xeriscaping is receiving more attention. Xeriscaping is a landscaping method developed especially for arid and semiarid climates that utilizes water-conserving techniques (as the use of drought-tolerant plants, mulch, and efficient irrigation). Freedom from supplemental irrigation water is key to this type of landscape. Native and other drought tolerant plantings are included, along with water conservation techniques to eliminate evaporation and run off. Contribute your ideas, and ask the experts on this Twitter chat!
